Carol A. Hoover

Carol A Hoover, age 86, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at home. She was born April 12, 1938, to George and Mary Picard. 

Living most of her life in her Kansas City home she loved her community and was an active member in the Catholic church. Spending her free time volunteering with her local feral cat community as well as her church, or completing a puzzle at home with her cats. An avid sports fan she loved to attend watch parties for local games. Carol loved to travel with her husband all around the United States, camping and fishing were some of their most treasured activities.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Marshall Hoover, and her brothers. She is survived by her step-children: Gregory Hoover (Ora), Larry Hoover (Georgia), and Candy Studer. Carol is further survived by her many grandchildren: Jennifer Churchill, Skylar Horvath (Ian), Evita Churchill; Gregory Corliss and Garrett Corliss. As well as many others.

Friends are invited to a memorial service at St. Thomas More Parish, 11822 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131, on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 1:00pm.
