Charlene Sue Miller

Charlene S. Miller (Hamm) age 77, of Kansas City, passed away on June 26, 2023, at Providence Medical Center.

She was born May 29, 1946, in Kansas City, the daughter of Reginald Eugene (Gene) Hamm, 2007, and Anna Catherine Hamm, 1964.

Charlene was predeceased in death by her father Reginald Eugene, mother Catherine Hamm, brothers Charles, Reginald Jr and James. She is survived by her sister Anna Marie Boruskeski and four children: Teddy, Stacy, Chris, and Jackie.

She was a loving grandma to Brooklyn, Dalanie Gabby, Kristina, John, Caressa, Chris, JoJo, TJ, Ashley, Mariah and 10 great grandchildren.

A mother and grandma too, Charlene loved to play card games, snacking and spending time with her family.

God looked around his garden and he found an empty place. He then looked down on this earth and saw your tired face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best.
He knew you were suffering. He knew you were in pain. He knew you would never get well on earth again. He knew the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb, so he closed your weary eyelids and whispered, “Peace be thine.”
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.

Charlene will be laid to rest in a private family service at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.
