Cheryl Mitchell, of lola, Kansas, passed away on February 15, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
Cheryl was deeply caring and nurturing. She devoted herself to her family, always offering support, comfort, and encouragement. Her greatest joys were spending time with her family and her granddaughter, Hazel, who brought immeasurable happiness and pride to her life. The love she had for her family was evident in everything she did. Cheryl had a vibrant personality and a way of connecting with people that made everyone feel like an old friend. She truly knew no strangers.
Cheryl's generosity continues to give life and comfort. Even in her passing, her compassion reaches beyond her own life, bringing hope, healing, and a lasting difference to others through the gift of organ donation.
Cheryl is survived by her daughter, Moriah Buchanan; her granddaughter, Hazel; her son, Stanley Maple; her brothers, Randy Maple and Charles Maple; and her sister, Maxine Maple, and the countless friends and family throughout her life.
Cheryl will be profoundly missed but forever remembered for her love, her strength, and the countless lives she touched.
A Celebration of Life will be held on February 28t at 2 pm at High Point Cowboy Church,
204 E. 4th Street, Colony, Kansas.
