Darren L. Powell

Darren (47) passed away unexpectedly in his home on February 22, 2026. He was the son of Victor D. Powell and Kathy A. Powell (Earl) of Atchison. He went to Trinity Lutheran school.  Darren married Candi A Powell (McNeely) on October 12, 2012, who survives of the home.  He is also survived by his mother Kathy A Powell (Earl); one sibling Shawn Powell of Atchison; grandparents Kenny & Jackie Bowen of Atchison and 2 uncles. Darren was preceded in death by his father Victor D Powell of Atchison.

Darren loved to go fishing, metal detecting and anything to do with the outdoors.

A celebration of life will be held at Jackson Park (Atchison) on Saturday March 21, 2026, at 2pm. Family and friends are invited to share memories.  ***Weather permitting***
