Donald Lee Kaltenbach

d. July 16, 2023

Olathe, Kansas

Donald Lee Kaltenbach, age 61, of Olathe, KS went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 16 th 2023.
He passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family, whom he loved very much. Donald is survived
by his wife of 33 years, Tiffany, brother David, daughters Crystal, Sabrina and son-in-law Michael
McCully, and Aubreanna and son-in-law Josh Springer, son Lee, and 3 grandchildren, as well as many
other family members and friends.

Originally born in Ravenna, OH, Donald moved to the Kansas City area with his family as a teenager
where he spent the rest of his life. Donald worked many years in security, fugitive recovery, and private
investigations, was a published author, had a love for rollercoasters, and a fascination with
thunderstorms. He had a passion for hunting, fishing and the outdoors, something he loved to share
with his family. His passion for the Lord was evident and visible and touching people throughout his life.
Near the end of his life his passion became speaking to everyone he could about Jesus and how excited
he was to be with his Lord and Savior in Heaven. Donald had a unique and charismatic personality that
drew people to him with his charm and witty ways. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved
him.

We would like to express extreme gratitude and thankfulness to the entire team at Crossroads Hospice
and Palliative Care who helped to take care of Donald and his family during this transition that affected
us all. Your care, concern, loving kindness, and willingness to be here day and night will shine in our
hearts forever and we bless and thank you all.

The family is planning a celebration of life; time, date, and place TBD.
