Donald "Don" Teson

Don Teson, age 73, passed away peacefully at his home in Olathe KS. A Celebration of Life will take place at St. Paul Catholic Church, 21650 W. 115 Terrace, Olathe KS, 66061, on Friday June 16, 2023.  Visitation will be at 10:00 and Rosary at 10:45. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00. 

Don attended Rockhurst High School and Rockhurst University, graduating with a degree in accounting.  Don passed away Mother’s Day morning and was preceded in death by his parents Grace and Richard Teson and younger sister Nancy Teson.  He is survived by four sisters Kathy Teson (Stan Risener), Mary Ann Bolton (David), Beth DeCoursey, and Linda Parsons (Mike), as well as extended friends and family.   

Don was a devout Catholic throughout his life and was active with helping others.  He had a giving attitude, a cheerful smile, and a lifelong faith. He took great joy in his volunteering at Catholic Charities and spent many years in helping others through this work.  Don was truly loved by all he knew.  Both lifelong friends and those he recently met all commented on what a kind and caring person he was.   

We are very grateful for the wonderful care he received for the past 4 years at Heritage Avonlea in Olathe, KS.  Don felt loved and a strong friendship by the residents and caregivers who helped him while he lived there.   

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made benefitting activities at Heritage Avonlea of Olathe or the Building Fund at St. Paul Catholic Church.
