Eulala Mae Steinmetz

Eulala Mae Steinmetz, age 80, peacefully passed away on January 10, 2026. She was born on July 20, 1945, to Marie and George Steinmetz, who preceded her in death, along with her brother William “Billy” Steinmetz, and sisters Georganne Raymond, Vickie Arneson, and Nina Vest.

Eulala was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved taking cruises with her family and friends and especially cherished spending time with her grandchildren and, in recent years, her great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her three children: Sindy Ortiz (David Ortiz), Lela Long (Jay Long), and Chris Dame (Shawna Dame). She was also deeply loved by her seven grandchildren: Rashelle Monasmith, Skylar Dame, Christopher Dame, Donny Dame, Bayley Love, Brayden Dame, and Kimberly Dame. Eulala was blessed with four great-grandchildren: Hailie Rae Michels, Wyatt Spencer Dowdy, Joseph Zachary Larson, and Christopher Elijah Dame. She is also survived by two sisters, Janet Hansen and Debbie Lambeth, and one brother, Kevin Steinmetz.

Eulala’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of compassion and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
