Fue Yang

Fue Yang was born on March 13, 1971, in Xieng Khouang, Laos, to Chong Her Yang and Mao Her Yang, who preceded him in death.

Fue came to the United States in December 1980, arriving in Honolulu, Hawaii. In 1981, he and his family moved to Des Moines, Iowa. In 1987, they followed Nhia Lue Yang to Fresno, California. Fue later moved to Kansas City, Kansas, in 1995, where he made his home with his siblings.

On July 7, 2000, Fue married Xai Yang. For 26 years, they shared a life filled with love and companionship. Although they did not have children of their own, Fue cherished his family deeply and was especially devoted to his nieces and nephews, whom he adored and loved as his own.

Fue is survived by his wife, Xai Yang; four brothers, Zang Thao (Chue), Xao Yang, Mike Yang (Sarad), and True Yang (Pa); and two sisters, Nou Moua (Lue Moua) and Tang Yang. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.

Fue was a Christian who placed his faith and trust in God. His faith was an important part of his life, and he carried it with him throughout his journey.

Fue had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to joke around. He was funny, a little goofy, and always brought laughter to those around him. Most of all, he loved his siblings, nieces, and nephews dearly. When he was younger, Fue enjoyed playing tops. He also enjoyed raising chickens and watching sports.

On August 26, 2026, Fue passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of his family. Fue will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his wife, siblings, nieces, nephews, and all those who knew and loved him. His laughter, kindness, humor, and love for his family will remain in our hearts forever.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 26th, 2026 at Centerpointe Community Church, 401 N. 78th St Kansas City, Kansas 66112.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 28th, 2026 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 701 North 94th Street Kansas City, KS 66112 at 10:00 A.M.
