Georgina Alejo Sebastian

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Georgina Alejo Sebastian, 51 from Michoacan, Mexico. She passed away peacefully on Friday April 24, 2026. Surrounded by her family and her beloved children at her son Jose’s, Kansas City Kansas home. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother. A generous, kind, welcoming, charismatic & loving soul, she will be very missed by those lives she touched.

She was the older sister to five younger brothers. She was always a very funny, kind, humble woman. One of the most genuine souls one could ever come across.

Georgina was born May 8 of 1974 and raised in Mexico but moved to Kansas City, Kansas in the year 2000 at just the age of 19. She moved along with her two sons Jose Leonardo Santos Alejo & Juan Angel Santos Alejo who were only five and two years old. She later had two daughters, Lupita Santos Alejo in the year, 2002 and Atziri Alejo Santos in the year 2008.

Visitation for Georgina will be held on May 11, 2026 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM 4880 Shawnee Dr, Kansas City Kansas. Visitation and Mass will be from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Blessed Sacrement Catholic Church, 2203 Parallel Avenue, Kansas City, KS.
