Glenda Dawn Yuncker

Oct 10, 1966 — Jul 10, 2026

Edwardsville, Kansas

Glenda Dawn “Dawn” Yuncker, 59, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a family who loved her deeply and will miss her every day.

Dawn was born on October 10, 1966, in Dumas, Texas. She was the proud mother of Michael Yuncker and Shelby Yuncker, and a loving grandmother to Olivia Gott and Samuel Davis, who brought her great joy.

Dawn worked for Walmart for many years, where she was known for her dedication and hard work. Outside of work, she found happiness in the simple things—getting lost in a good book, listening to music, and spending time with animals, which she adored. As a young girl, she dreamed of becoming a marine biologist, a reflection of her lifelong fascination with the natural world.

Those who knew Dawn will remember her as compassionate, entertaining, and unapologetically herself. She could be stubborn at times, but it was matched by a caring heart and a sense of humor that brought smiles to those around her. While she was not religious, she found comfort in believing that one day she would be reunited with her father.

Dawn’s love, laughter, and unique spirit will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
