Jeanne M Cummings

Jeanne M Cummings passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Villa

Saint Francis.

Jeanne was born in Marysville, KS to Wilfred and Mary Cohorst on

February 18, 1947. She was united in marriage to Paul V Cummings on

September 20, 1969 in Marysville, KS.

Jeanne is survived by sister Roberta Anthony, sister-in-law Rosemary

Cohorst. Brothers-in-laws Mike, Bill, and Steve Cummings, Ron

VanBlaricon and George Heimos; sisters-in-law Barbara King and

Marilyn Heimos; Wanda Cummings, Hannelore Cummings and Dorothy

Cummings; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband Paul, parents Wilfred

and Mary Cohorst, parents-in-law Willliam and Mirva Cummings; foster

mother-in-law Beth O'Neill; sisters Karen Manson, Linda Roberts, and

Sandra Byrd; and brother Jerry Cohorst; brothers-in-law Richard

Anthony, Charles Roberts, Dean Manson, Ralph Byrd, David, Pat,

Lawrence, Joe, and Kenny Cummings; and sister-in-law Ann

VanBlaricon.

Services will be at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Olathe, KS on

Friday, February 27. The rosary and visitation will be at 9 am followed

by Mass at 10 am. Burial will be in Marysville, KS at a later date.

Memorial contributions can be given to Villa St Francis or a favorite

charity.
