Jessica Dawn Russell Koehler, 47, of Independence, Missouri passed away unexpectedly on February 9, 2024.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Heart of God Fellowship, 3720 Buckner-Tarseny, Buckner, Missouri 64015.  Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM with service from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM.

Jessika was a kind soul; caring mother; and amazing partner.  She was incredibly intelligent and loved her kids most of all.  She was loud and proud to the very end.

Jessika is survived by her children: Michael Russell, Nicholas Russell-Gamble, and Alexus Gamble; mother, Lisa Smothers; father, Dennis Russell; fiancée, Terisha Janeski; siblings: Tracee Gulley, Shaun Jack, and Scott Jack; nephews: Devan Brown, Kayden Russell, Toby Pointer, and JC Ault; niece, Audrey and many more family and friends.

Jessika was a shining star that will be forever missed but never forgotten.
