Jesus Macias was 53 when he passed away on September 8, 2023, at his home, peacefully surrounded by his family. Visitation will be from 5:00~7:00 PM on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Kansas City Funeral Directors, 4880 Shawnee Drive, Kansas City, KS. A funeral mass will be said at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 15, 2023 at St. Mary's & St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 615 N. 7th St., Kansas City, Kansas. Burial will follow mass at Bonner Springs City Cemetery.

His love for life was felt through all the people he interacted with. If you had the chance to meet him, you would know that you could ask him for anything, and if he had the chance to help you, he would.

He is survived by a son, Ricardo, two sisters, Lorena and Margarita, a brother, Raul, and his mother and father, Margarita and Cirillo.
