Jimmie Lee Oxley

Jimmie Lee Oxley, 43 passed away April 26, 2024 at Overland Park Regional in Overland Park, Kansas.

Jimmie was born in September 1980 in Olathe, Kansas to Glenn and Vicki Oxley. He graduated from Olathe North High School, loved football and was ranked nationally in javelin. He was a certified arborist for over 20 years and had a passion for trees.

Jimmie met his wife, Jessica in 2017 and together they have five children - Tanner, Tyler, Roman, Venice, and their daughter, Grace.

He is also survived by his brothers Joshua Oxley and wife Lisa, Jon Oxley and wife Abbie, Joey Oxley and wife Christy and many nieces and nephews.

Jimmie was a man of God and he loved Jesus. He enjoyed hanging out with his family and friends, going fishing, sitting around bonfires, casino for date nights, and watching the history/discovery channel eating ice cream or cereal. He also loved listening to his favorite preacher, John MacArthur. Jimmie was the most hardworking, kindhearted, loyal, true, handsome, loving husband and father. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Cedar Creek Clubhouse, 25775 W. 103rd St, Olathe, Kansas  66061.

He was loved by many and will be missed dearly.
