John Howard Loftiss, Jr.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Howard Loftiss Jr, he passed away peacefully on August 1st 2025, at the age of 43. John was born in Kansas City, KS , on March 5, 1982. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend.

John was passionate about his sports. His favorite football team was the Pittsburgh Steelers and was a die hard KU Jayhawks fan. John enjoyed fishing and camping.

He is survived by his loving wife Tosha Loftiss, his daughters, Brynn Gimzo, Morgan Loftiss, and his sons, Theo Loftiss, Jaxson Loftiss. John leaves behind his parents, John Loftiss Sr and Clara Loftiss ; his sister, Heather Keith, along with 2 nieces Larissa Felix and Elizabeth Felix; and a host of extended family and friends who will miss him deeply.

A celebration of John's life will be held on a later date.
