Judy Lynette Jordan

Judy Jordan passed away at the age of 67 years on January 25, 2026. Born in Oberlin, Kansas she was the daughter of Eugene Wurm and Beverly Smith. She graduated college from York University of Nebraska and worked as a CNA for 25 years at Good Samaritan Center, as well as an editor at the Oberlin Herald for several years.

Judy enjoyed knitting, reading, watching movies and "tea, Earl Grey, hot." She was kind, enjoyed making gifts for her family and friends, and loved cats.

She is survived by her sisters: Patricia Buffum, Shanna Long, and Nancy Corder; her children:  Christopher Jordan, Karyn Velotta, Sean Jordan and Daniel Jordan; as well as her grandchildren: Rosalie Jordan, Benjamin, Theodore, and Alexander James; and her beloved cat Shamos.
