Karla Ann Brenner

Karla Ann Brenner, 89, of Kansas City, KS reposed peacefully in the Lord on May 14, 2025.

Karla is proceeded in death by her parents: Harry and Muriel Markley; loving husband, Jim Brenner; sister, Karen Ennis; and son in law, Dr Bruce Langston.

Karla is survived by her daughter, Krista Tanney; grandson, Joe Tanney (Kristina); granddaughter, Megan Tanney; and five great grandchildren.

Karla and Jim were married at St Luke’s Lutheran Church-Mo Syn, Kansas City, KS in 1956. She enjoyed being a member of the Women’s Walther League and Alanon where she developed loving lifelong friendships. She walked throughout her neighborhood yearly collecting donations for the March of Dimes. Karla was a homemaker, caring for, loving and supporting her family. She enjoyed reading, writing letters to long-distance family members, and hosting all sorts of parties.

She will be deeply missed.

The family will have a private Celebration of Life service.
