Kong Wang Yang, born on June 4, 1966 in XiengKhuong, Laos passed away unexpectedly in a car accident on December 12, 2025 in Lenexa, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents, Qhoua Xa Yang and Mee Her; brothers Tou and Sue; sisters Mao, Jou, Ying, Ger, and Mai. Kong is survived by his brother Tong Yang.
Kong was a loving husband and father. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Shoua Yang, daughter, Jennifer, and two sons, Luke (wife, Elizabeth Yang) and Steve (wife, Bao Lor). Kong and Shoua met in 1984 at Maranatha Camp LOVE. They were married March 1, 1986 in Wausau, WI.
Kong cherished and loved his seven grandchildren - Brayson Thow, Avery Thow, Daphne Thow, Colton Thow, Layla Yang, Elliot Yang, and Titus Yang.
Kong was a man of deep faith. He loved God and devoted himself to God faithfully until his last breath; he loved his pastor and congregation; he loved his family.
