Linda Jo Weems

Linda Jo Weems, 71, of Shawnee, KS went to be with the Lord and was reunited with her loved ones on November 30, 2023. Linda entered eternal rest at Kansas City Hospice House. A Celebration of Life will be held, at a later date, in remembrance for family and friends.

Linda was born August 11, 1952 to Mary Katherine (Bradley) Harbin and Mack Adam Harbin in Craig, MO. She married Troy W. Weems on August 29, 1993. United they would share 5 daughters. Linda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, watching her favorite tv shows, listening to the oldies, and spoiling her granddaughter, Payton, and 3 Brussels Griffons.  

Linda was preceded in death by her grandfather, Samuel Harbin, grandmother, Sarah (Spoons) Harbin, brother, Danny Harbin, father, Mack Adam Harbin, husband, Troy W. Weems, and sister-in-law, Diane Bradley.

She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Mary Katherine Virginia (Bradley) Harbin, daughter, Misty Landess (John) of Shawnee, KS. Siblings; Don Bradley of Rock Port, MO, Sam Harbin (Pam) of Brownville, NE, Mack Harbin (Sheila) of Watson, MO, and Lucille Harbin of Plattsburg, MO. Stepdaughters; Karla Nichols of Jacksonville, FL, Kristin Tyson (Jeff) of Olathe, KS, Valerie Paterson (Mike) of Overland Park, KS, and Tracy Mulligan (Tom) Tucson, AZ. As well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends.

The family expresses gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. Special thanks are given to the dedicated team at Kansas City Hospice who provided loving care to Linda at the end of her life and to her niece, Kathy Sammons, who was a huge support throughout her health care journey.
