Lynnette Hernandez, 66, of Kansas City Kansas passed away Friday October 6th, 2023 at her home surrounded by her husband and children. Lynnette was born on January 18th, 1957 in Los Angeles California. She was the daughter of the late Fred Crawford and Delores Bynum.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ruben Hernandez, along with their beloved children, Aimee Sanchez (Jesus), Ruben Hernandez II, Carlos Hernandez (Kirklyn), as well as her grandchildren to whom she adored; Christina, Alexandria, Emma, and Logan, along with her sister Valerie Schubert. In addition to her parents she is preceded by her brother Fred Crawford Jr, sister Sabrina Sackuvich, and son in law Jesus Sanchez.

Lynnette upheld a positive outlook on life and never lost sight of her faith throughout the entire 10 years she battled cancer. Although Lynnette loved listening to Elvis Presley, watching her soap operas and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, her true passion and love in life were being with her children and grandchildren. Lynnette and Ruben spent many wonderful years managing Jalisco’s restaurant in Argentine, during that time she impacted the lives of many people and made many friends along the way. Lynnette will always be remembered as a selfless and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will continue to live on in every heart she touched.

The memorial mass will be held Thursday, October 12, 2023, 3pm at St Johns the Evangelist Catholic Church, 2910 Strong Ave Kansas City, KS 66106.
