Marie Huntington

March 29, 1958 – July 12, 2026

Marie Huntington, 68, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2026.

Marie was a remarkably hardworking woman who truly loved people, and that love was warmly returned by everyone who knew her. She possessed a vibrant spirit and a generous heart, making friends wherever she went. An avid animal lover, Marie held a special place in her heart for all creatures, but none more so than her beloved dog, Bronco, who was her constant and cherished companion.

Her faith and community were central to her life. Marie deeply loved spending time with her church family at Centerpointe Community Church, where she found great joy, fellowship, and purpose.

Marie was preceded in death by her beloved parents; Elzy Harold Fry, Myrtle Alberta Browder Fry and her siblings.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Donald Huntington. She also leaves behind a beautiful legacy through her four children and twelve grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly, as well as numerous cherished nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM this Saturday, July 18, 2026 at CenterPointe Community Church, 401 N. 78th St, Kansas City, KS. Donations may be made to the church to help with medical and funeral expenses. Every little bit helps and is greatly appreciated.
