It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark Richard Steck, who departed from this world on September 7, 2023. He was born on April 28, 1962 to Hover and Helen Steck of Lenexa, Kansas and lived a life filled with love, laughter, and profound impact.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Francene, his children, Josh Steck, Amy (Dan) Stark, Elly (Sean) Prendergast, Tyler (Taylor) Steck, and Ronnie Horvatic, 13 grandchildren, and countless others who were fortunate enough to know him. In his memory, we reflect on the beauty of a life well-lived.
A memorial service will be held on October 7, 2023 at 10am at OP Church - A Church of Christ located at 13400 West 119th Street, Overland Park, KS 66213 where we will gather to celebrate Mark's life and bid our final "see ya later"s. The family requests that you wear a Hawaiian shirt in honor of Mark's favorite wardrobe. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Lenexa, Kansas.
Mark may no longer be with us in person, but his spirit and impact will continue to inspire us all. May he rest in eternal peace.
