Mark C. Taegel, Sr

Mark went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday September 16, 2025. Mark was a man of unwavering faith - Faith in our Lord, his family and his friends.  Mark was many things - proud, strong, intelligent, loyal and loving. He had an unwavering moral compass. Although his job title was HVAC, there was absolutely nothing he couldn't fix. He was a friend to so many and a teacher to anyone who wanted to learn. He was proud to say he was a Redneck through and through. 

Mark will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.  Mark is survived by his wife Lori and granddaughter Izabela; children Lora Waldo and Chad Gauger; brothers Mike Taegel (Melissa), Jack Mey (Terry) and Tom Mey. He loved to brag about his 8 grandkids: Elaine Diaz (Ruben), Olivia Waldo, Peyton Waldo (Julia), Brandon and Noah Taegel, Grace and Russell Gauger, and Izabela Flores.

 If possible he smiled even bigger when he said he also had 4 great-grandkids: Cesar, Jherson and Oliver Diaz and Gianni Waldo.  Mark was preceeded in death by parents James Taegel and Peggy Taegel-Mey; brother Marty Taegel and son Mark Jr.
