Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, watching her favorite Westerns, listening to gospel music, reading the Bible, and playing Solitaire on her tablet.

In earlier years, Mary loved horses and was especially fond of and had many stories of her horse, “Babe”. Mary worked at The Inter-State Nurseries, in Hamburg, IA., the Rock Port Nursing Home, in Rock Port, MO., and Betty’s Hilltop, in Rock Port, Mo.

Sister; Diana Husing, of Shubert NE. As well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many cherished friends. It should be noted that her grandchildren believe that she was the best grandmother in the world.

The family expresses gratitude for the outpouring of calls, texts, prayers, and other acts of kindness during this difficult time. Words cannot express our deep gratitude and appreciation of each and every one of you.  A Celebration of Life will be held, at a later date, in remembrance of Mary and her daughter, Linda Weems, for family and friends.
