Patricia “Patty” Antoinette Hagee Robison passed peacefully on January 20, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of faith, family, and love that spanned generations.
Patty grew up in a large family with strong Oklahoma roots and deeply held family values. Her mother, Arpa Antoinette Precure Hagee, was the youngest of twelve siblings. Antoinette’s father traveled to Oklahoma by train from Pennsylvania during the Second Land Run and established an orchard in Choctaw, Oklahoma, where oil was later discovered on the family homestead.
Patty’s father, Dwight Lymon Hagee, was the oldest of seven siblings and a self-made man. At the age of 13, he left school to work in the oil fields as his family followed the cotton crops during difficult times. Recognizing his determination, the Superintendent of Choctaw Schools helped Dwight continue his education. Through hard work and perseverance, he later established a successful chain of RedBud grocery stores throughout the Oklahoma City metro area. A man of strong faith and character, Dwight ensured that his younger brothers received an education, instilling in his children the importance of family, integrity, and perseverance.
As the eldest of four children, Patty naturally took on a nurturing role, caring for her younger siblings and developing the strong sense of responsibility and compassion that defined her life. She spoke often and lovingly of her family. Her late brother, Jerry Hagee, and his wife of more than 50 years, Polly, along with their children Wendy, Lori, and Kathy, held a special place in her heart. Her late sister, Jane Brown, and Jane’s children Beth and Brandon were dearly loved. The youngest sibling, Ina Sue Osborn, resides in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Ina and her late husband of over 50 years, Terry, with their children Katie, Callie, and Tad brought joy and laughter into Patty’s life.
Patty graduated from Northeast High School in 1948, where she excelled academically, loved reading, and twirled the baton in the school band. After graduation, she worked in her father’s grocery store before attending the University of Oklahoma Nurses Training Program. There she met the love of her life, Dr. Clarence Robison, deceased. They were married on May 27, 1951. Clarence served as a Captain in the United States Air Force, and the couple was stationed at Francis E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming, where he worked in pathology.
When Clarence chose to pursue surgery, the family returned to Oklahoma City. In 1960, Patty enrolled at the University of Oklahoma and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts through the Kellogg Scholarship program. She devoted herself to raising her family, actively participating in school activities and ensuring her children were involved in extracurriculars. Patty and Clarence shared a love of travel, using each journey as an opportunity to teach their children about history, culture, and the wider world. They even became licensed pilots together.
Patty volunteered extensively, teaching CPR throughout Oklahoma for the American Heart Association. In 1980, she earned her Real Estate Broker’s License and opened a Century 21 franchise in Edmond, Oklahoma. Her warmth and integrity helped her build lasting relationships and assist countless families in finding homes.
One of Patty’s greatest personal passions was the game of Bridge. She played whenever possible, achieving the level of Life Master. She was actively involved in many organizations including Zeta Tau Alpha, P.E.O., Junior League, the American Contract Bridge League, the Oklahoma County Medical Association, Criterion Book Club, and the Oklahoma Realtors Association, often serving in leadership roles.
Patty and Clarence raised five children. Their first son, Mark Clarence (June 6, 1954 – April 3, 1966), preceded her in death.
She is survived by 4 children:• Timothy Dwight and wife Lela of Muskogee, Oklahoma; grandchildren Claire and Matthew; great-grandchildren Morgan and Margaret• John David and wife Patricia of Edmond, Oklahoma; grandchildren Christopher and William• Paul Douglas and wife Kristy of St. Louis, Missouri; grandchildren Phillip, Alyssa, Alexandra, Benjamin, Emma, and Caroline; great-grandchildren Liam, Ezra, Jude, Olivia, and Hugo• Rebecca Antoinette and husband Randy Stateler of Oklahoma City; grandchildren Ronald and Patricia; great-grandchildren Rory, Kinley, Kasima, Damien, and Matthew.
Patty believed deeply in finding the good in everyone. She often stepped into a mothering role for friends and loved ones, offering guidance, encouragement, and unconditional love. Many of her loved ones went before her, and we take comfort in knowing she has been joyfully reunited with them in Heaven.
Her life was one of devotion, generosity, faith, and love—a legacy that will continue through the many generations she so dearly cherished.
A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Church located at 2424 NW 50th, OKC, OK on Saturday, April 18th at 2 pm.
