Paul V Zahner, 68 of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away peacefully and went to be with the Lord on June 24, 2026. He was a lifelong resident of the Johnson and Wyandotte Counties area where he graduated from St Joseph High School. Paul was a plumber by trade, but his real joy was to be in his boat fishing local, state, and county lakes.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Charlotte Zahner and brothers Frank Jr and Robert (Bob) Zahner. Survivors include his sisters, Linda Zahner OSB, Christine (Zahner) Schmidt, Norma (Zahner) Holtmeyer, Rose Theresa (Zahner) Warhurst and brother John Steven Zahner.
Funeral Mass will be Monday, June 29, 2026, at St Joseph Catholic Church, Shawnee, KS with visitation 9:30am and funeral Mass following at 10:30am. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery, 8300 Quivira Rd, Lenexa, KS 66215.
