Paula J. Ratterman

Paula J. Ratterman,53 transitioned from this earth of November 25, 2025. Paula was born in Kansas City, Kansas in July of 1972. She was born to Paul and Jayne Schoneman/Debus. She was raised in Kansas City along with her brother Brian and sister Amanda. 

In 1993, Paula met and married John Ratterman. It was love at first sight. Together they raised their family, a son Tyler and a daughter Julia. Both children were adopted from separate families, but they loved and adored them as if their own biological children. Tyler from Michele and Julia from Jessica.

Paula spent most of her whole life living in Piper, the place she loved the most. She worked for many companies, primarily in the medical field. Most of her career was spent at Argus Health where she was a pharmacy benefit analyst. Paula made many life long friends. She loved her job but loved her coworkers and friends even more.

Paula was a dedicated wife and life partner of 32 years to John but most of all a dedicated mother to Tyler and Julia.Paula was a strong and powerful mother, wife, sister, aunt and friend who supported others above all else. She is now with her grandmother Shirley and others & is now at rest looking down upon her family and friends who love and adored her. 

Paula is survived by her husband John, son Tyler and daughter Julia.Also surviving are mother Jayne Debus(Fred), father Paul Schoneman(Susan), brother Brian Schoneman and sister Amanda Fletcher(Rick).

Paula's wishes were to be cremated with internment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Kansas City, Kansas at a later date.There will be a celebration of life for Paula. Arrangements are pending.
