Rebecca Lynn Pryor

On Sunday, September 24, 2023, Rebecca Lynn Pryor passed away unexpectedly at her home in Independence, MO with her beloved dog Shadow of many years.  

 

Rebecca "Becky" Pryor was born in 1953 to the late Eugene & Beulah Pryor in Mexico, MO.  Becky was a nurse her entire life and worked at several different hospitals and nursing facilities throughout the Mexico and Columbia area.  Becky enjoyed playing bingo, spending time with her friends, watching baseball & football, and enjoying her kids, grandkids and recent great grandkids.  She was proceeded in death by her dad Eugene, and mom Beulah.

 

Becky is survived by her 2 children. Carrie of Independence, MO and Ron of Overland Park, KS.  In addition, she had grandkids PD Sydnor, Jayden Sydnor, Isaiah Sydnor, Reed Pryor, Ainsley Pryor and great grandkids Journi O'Neal, and Aaliyah Sydnor.  Becky also had 1 brother, George (Sherree) Pryor of Springfield, Virginia.    

 

A private family celebration of life and memorial service will be held at a future date.
