Roman Richard Erickson

Roman Richard Erickson, 96, loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed peacefully in his home and went to be with Jesus on August 7, 2023. Roman was born in Preston, Missouri to parents Elmer and Mary Erickson. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, his loving wife of 71 years Florence (Lee) Erickson and their son Richard (Ronda) Erickson. Roman is survived by his daughters, Judy (Dave) Senne, Janet (Ron) Quick, grandchildren, Jessica Swarthout, Rachel Hennon, Stephen Senne, Kelly McBride, Julie Senne, Dustin Quick, Joe Senne, Michael Senne, Rachel Robertson and 18 great-grandchildren.

 

Roman was honored to serve in the U.S Army during WWII where he was stationed in Germany.

 

Roman retired from the Gas Service Co. after 38 years of employment where he started out as a ditch digger and worked his way to the corporate level as a manager for Corrosion Control. He was very proud of the patent on a "temperature compensated gauge" that he developed for the Gas Service Co.

 

Roman was talented in multiple areas. His true passion was in electronics but no matter what was broken we knew he could fix it.
