Ronald D. Norred

Ronald David Norred quietly passed away October 19, 2023 while living in Leavenworth Kansas. Born in Birmingham Alabama to parents John and Annie Ruth Norred.

 

Growing up in Kansas City, Missouri with his siblings, brothers Phil and Johnny, along with surviving sisters Sandra, Linda and Karen. Ron spent his time playing football , helping build houses in the growing community, working on his cars and going on joy rides around town while listening to his favorite music.

 

Graduating from North Kansas City High School in 1968.  Shortly after graduation Ron enlisted in the Marines and served his country from 1970 to 1971. Throughout his life he worked at such jobs as, BNSF Railroad, Sunshine Biscuit and TWA or later American Airlines, alongside brother Johnny. To provide for his family.

 

He is now with his wife Cheryl Norred and is survived by his two children. Son, Matthew Norred and daughter, Melissa Hedrick. Son in law Alexander Hedrick and grandchildren Jack David and Carl James Hedrick.

 

Services will be held at Kansas City Funeral Directors in Shawnee Kansas, November 1st, 2023, at 5PM to 7 PM.
