Simoon Vang

In 1998, the world was graced with Simoon’s existence, and his parents were overjoyed to be blessed with their first (and only) son. Throughout his childhood, he enjoyed picking up unique rocks, pretending to be Spiderman, and winning at any game he played. As he entered his teens, he discovered Christ and his passion for art and writing. Upon entering adulthood, he acquired a taste for the finer things in life (not surprising as he loved those unique shiny rocks during his younger years). Because of that, straight after graduating high school, he started working to be able to buy himself all that his heart desired, from extravagant jackets to studded watches and rings. These resulted in him becoming the fashion icon he is today. It wouldn’t have surprised anyone if he scored a cover photoshoot with Vogue. Always big on aesthetics, he was trying to understand himself better through his style. It guided him to become the intelligent, intellectual, logical, practical, and handsome man that he was. He had an eye for beauty, even in the darkness. Throughout his lifetime, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends doing various activities such as watching movies and TV shows, bonding over music, painting and drawing, vacationing, gaming, or just talking for hours. Unfortunately for his family and friends, in June of 2024, they received shocking news that Simoon had quietly passed away in his home during sleep. However, just like how he loved winning at everything since young, now he has won the game of life, as he is now asleep in Christ, awaiting to be risen upon the King’s return.

His mother, father, and sisters will dearly miss their son and brother until they are reunited in the Heavenly Father’s home.

Below is information about Simoon’s burial service as well as an upcoming separate memorial life celebration service. If you are planning to join both or either service, the family invites you to please join them in honoring Simoon’s iconic fashion sense by wearing your very best formal wear, black-tie attire, or anything donned with roses since those were his favorite pieces of clothing.
