Steven Eugene Defries

Steve DeFries, 69, passed away June 2nd at Advent Health, after a short battle with cancer.

Steve served in the United States Army from 1973 to 1975.

He was preceded in death by his Father and Mother, Ted & Peggy DeFries.

He leaves behind his wife, Caron DeFries of Edwardsville, his brother Terry and wife Tina of
KCK, two sisters, Patricia Black and husband Jay of KCK, and Peggy Scholl and Phil of
Edwardsville, his two adult children, Amy Young of Camdenton, Missouri and Paul DeFries of
Corpus Christie, Texas, plus one adult grandson of Camdenton, Missouri.
