Steven Mark Abisch

Steven Mark Abisch, 67, passed away peacefully and comfortably on September 28, 2026, in Overland Park, Kansas. He was born September 24, 1959, in Jacksonville, Florida, to the late Joseph A. Abisch and June A. Wash.

Steven is survived by his daughter, Rachel Abisch Aguirre, and her husband, Alex Aguirre; his grandchildren, Kinsleigh, Reagan, Addelyn, Damon, Airah, and Maverick; and his four sisters, Susan Tobin and her husband, Dr. Robert Tobin; Elizabeth McLaughlin and her husband, Kenny; Karen Hazenfield and her husband, Joey; and Angela Moeck and her husband, Tony. He is also lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.

Steven loved music, abstract painting, poetry, travel, and experiencing different cultures. He will be remembered especially for his creativity and wonderful sense of humor.

A private family memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Steven’s memory to the American Diabetes Association.

Steven will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and all who knew him.
