Susan L. Foley (Feldkamp), an artist whose haunting, intricate work drew from the shadows of Gothic romanticism and the macabre, lost a very short but aggressive battle with Cancer on February 19, 2026 at the age of 63. Her death came only 9 days after diagnosis.
Susan developed an early obsession with and often found beauty in decay and fantastical imagery. She cultivated a style defined by colored pencil drawings, maximalist design and paper mache. She was not merely an artist but a storyteller, exploring the spiritual yearning often overlooked in art.
Susan leaves behind her children: Jasmin Chaney (Megan), Nicholas Foley, Jacob Foley and Heather Foley. Her grandchildren: Christian Reese, Anastatia Harrington, Caleb Harrington, Brooklyn Foley and Malachi Foley. Her great grandchildren: Kenyon Jr., Emileon, and Jennifer. In addition to the several friends of each of her children Susan took in and parented throughout the years.
