Timothy Brian Burton

Timothy Brian Burton, 56, passed away on August 23rd, 2023 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on February 4th 1967 in Kansas City to Barbara Phillips. He was a beloved father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Tim spent his career as a commercial and residential painter. He was known for his quick wit and dry sense of humor. He enjoyed fishing, watching the Kansas City Chiefs, and spending time with friends and family.

Tim is survived by son Bryan Burton (Cassie), daughters Candice Carriger (Brian), and Kayla Padelli; grandchildren: Destiny Burton, Ezra Burton, Kylee Johnson, Brayden Johnson; his step-father Lawrence Burton Sr,; brother Lawrence Burton, sister Mary “Marnie” Burton, brother William “Billy” Sickman, and Billie Bond who was the love of Tim’s life as well as many other family members. He was preceded in death by his mother Barbara Burton, grandparents Ezra, and Mary Phillips, and former wife Cindy Burton.

Tim’s final wish was to be cremated. There will be a Celebration of Life at Wyandotte County Lake at Shelter 6 on September 9th from 12pm-5pm. Tim’s memory will forever be cherished by his loved ones. May he Rest in Peace.
