Wanda L. Duncan

Wanda L. Duncan passed away on Monday April 15th with her family by her side. She is proceeded in death by her mother and father, her husband of 45 years Joseph Duncan, and her son Daryl Duncan (Victoria) and two sisters Bobbie Gosnell and Irene Schweitzer. She leaves behind 2 children; Deborah (Duncan) Norman (Paul), and Joseph “Bill” Duncan, Jr (Linda). She was blessed to have 11 people call her Grandma, 29 Great-Grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren and two sisters Sue Mclaughlin and Becky Wood. Born and raised in Arkadelphia Arkansas after marriage she relocated to Kansas City, KS where she lived for over 50 years. Wanda loved a good garage sale and enjoyed collecting various antiques. When she wasn’t spending time with her family she enjoyed her trips to the Casino. A celebration of life will be held at the VFW post 11499 at 2806 N 155th Ter, Basehor, KS on Friday April 19th from 5-8pm.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to Kansas City Hospice House at 12000 Wornall Road, Kansas City, MO 64145.
