Wanda Mae Gosser

February 23, 1960 — August 14, 2023

Burlingame, Kansas

In Loving Memory of Wanda Mae (Satterlee) Gosser
Wanda Gosser, 63, of Kansas was placed on life support after complications from a routine
surgery. She passed surrounded by loved ones in the very early hours on August 14, 2023. Her
loss was completely unexpected and the family is shocked and deeply saddened. Even though our
time feels like it was cut short, the memories will forever remain.

Wanda was born on February 23, 1960 to Cecil and Blanche Satterlee in Caldwell, Kansas.
Wanda attended Wellington High School. She started a family right away, having a total of 6
children – Matthew (Peggy) Culver, Keith Martin, Kevin Martin, April (Jeremy) Borton, Terra
(Robert) Harmon and Allen Martin. She was also a proud grandma to 8 grandchildren – Grant
Harmon, Hunter Williams, Gage Harmon, Maci Williams, Avalon Martin, Logan Williams,
Genesis Martin and Baron Martin.

Wanda is also survived by an uncle, along with several siblings, nieces and nephews, cousins and
friends.

Wanda loved cats, Elvis, Pepsi and the color purple. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she
always went all-out decorating. She enjoyed spending time with loved ones, going to garage sales
and thrift stores, coloring, and doing simple arts and crafts. She also enjoyed taking road trips,
most of which were to see family and friends.

Everyone will remember Wanda for different things, but there is no better memory than her
unforgettable laugh. Some referred to it as a drowning cat while others say it sounded like a
witch’s cackle with a snort. Many would say it was a combination of both. No one can imitate it
but many had fun trying. Her laugh was contagious and would bring a smile to anyone’s face.

Wanda was an organ donor and will be helping many people. We are hopeful to connect with the
recipients when they are ready. It would mean a lot to her that she is making a difference in
someone else’s life.

There are no plans of a service at this time. Memorial cards will be available through the family
at a later date.
