Bill Roberts, 65, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023 after battling with liver disease and finally Hepatic failure. He passed away peacefully at his home with his companion, Kristy at his side.
Bill was born March 20, 1958 to Frank William Roberts and Barbara Jean Hendricks in Kansas CIty, Kansas. After graduating from J.C. Harmon High School in 1976, he went on to work at Arrowhead Drywall Company for 35 plus years.
Bill enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping, swimming and traveling with his life-long friends. He was an avid fisherman and his favorite would be fishing for flathead catfish in the river. He took pride in being a good friend and would do anything for a friend in need. Bill was fun-loving and he could keep you laughing for hours.
He is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents; his father Frank William Roberts; his beloved mother Barbara Jean Hendricks; and his amazing brother Steven Roberts.
He is survived by his loving companion of 21 years, Kristy Yonts; three lovely sisters Deborah Biggs, Cynthia Ledesma and Elizabeth "Beth" Davis; his brother-in-law and friend George Biggs(George was more than a brother-in-law and friend...he was probably the one person Bill trusted and believed in); many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces and a host of life-long friends.
